Prayer and worship are an integral part of the life of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary school. Collective worship and Religious Education are based on the Catholic faith, scripture, the liturgical year and the Gospel values. Collective worship takes place every day throughout the school. Teachers take every opportunity to pray with the children at appropriate times of the day.
Mass is celebrated half termly and on special occasions. Throughout the year we attend Mass on holy days of obligation and on Saints days such as the feast of St. David and St. Joseph.
Opportunities for the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation are provided during Advent and Lent.
