Dosbarth Dreigiau – Miss Beesley

Summer Term 2024

Welcome to our class page where you can find out about what we are learning and see pictures of some of our work.  There is also a parent resources section below where you can find links to learning resources that you can use with your child at home.

This term we will be learning about our local area of Cimla and Neath. We want the pupils to develop an understanding and sense of belonging of this local area. They will learn that we will live in a diverse community and what we have available in our community. They will talk about their favourite place in our community and learn to be proud of where they are from! They will think of ways in which they can improve our community. Through an understanding of themselves, learners develop their own identity and an awareness of how they, as individuals, can shape the communities in which they live. The pupils will come to realise that the choices we all make, individually and collectively, can have major impacts on society.
